Unlike traditional role playing games, The Hollow does not feature classes, or experience points, or other more common forms of progression. Here, everything is taken more… literally.
Characters may obtain new Skill, Attribute, and Mastery Points by spending Nanocytes. In this way, Nanocytes are a physical representation of experience; a literal progression mechanic. Characters may spend their Nanocytes with any Guild House by consulting the House’s Quartermaster.
1 Skill Point may be obtain in exchange for 9 Nanophile.
1 Attribute Point may be obtain in exchange for 24 Nanophile.
1 Mastery Points may be obtain in exchange for 18 Nanophile.
