Firearm Modifications

Firearm Listing

Firearms may be customized to change their properties. Mods may be fitted or removed from Firearms as a Complex Action.

Firearms up to Rating 4 may be fitted with a single Modification. Rating 5 and up may be fitted with two Modifications.


Modification Listing


Dazzle Beam – 9ore – 1 Kamatite & 12 Glass

If the Character makes an Aim Action, the targets will experience Bright Light until the Aim is lost.

Extended Sink – 9ore – 1 Cyclogen & 12 Glass

Increase the Firearm’s Sink by +2.

Gimbal Fire – 9ore – 2 Fragments & 6 Nanophile

Using the Firearm does not prevent the Character from taking a Complex Action during their Turn.

Power Rail – 9ore – 1 Osmium & 12 Glass

Increase the Weapon’s Armor Penetration by -1.

Range Accelerator – 9ore – 1 Cyclogen & 12 Glass

The Weapon may be fired at no penalty at their normal Range Increment and at a single Range increment level higher than their normal Range. This does not effect Range modifiers to Impact.

This may not be equipped to a Weapon with the Range Damper.

This Mod may only be fitted once.

Range Damper – 9ore – 1 Cyclogen & 12 Glass

The Weapon may be fired at no penalty at their normal Range Increment and at a single Range increment level lesser than their normal Range. This does not effect Range modifiers to Impact.

This may not be equipped to a Weapon with the Range Accelerator.

This Mod may only be fitted once.

Scatter Choke – 9ore – 2 Fragments & 12 Glass

Reduces Range by 1 Increment and Firearm Range Penalties are doubled.

The Weapon may deal its Damage in a Narrow Cone AoE.

This Mod may only be fitted once.

Scram Rail – 9ore – 1 Osmium & 12 Glass

Impact Penalties due to Range are reduced by 1.

Suppressor – 9ore – 1 Cyclogen & 12 Glass

Firearms equipped with a Suppressor modify Awareness only by +3 when used.
